How can Sportsmart's Team Smart benefit your club and club members?
Individual club members: Save on products storewide with the Sportsmart Smart Card program. Don't forget to refer the club Team Smart ID number to ensure the spend goes to the total rebate.
Team Smart clubs & schools: every purchase made by Team Smart members (when the club's Team Smart number is referenced) earns a 6% rebate, which goes directly to your club or school.
For example...
If the total amount spent by club or school members using the Team Smart ID over a set period is $1,000, the club will receive a rebate of 6% on that total spend. In this case, the rebate would be $60 (6% of $1000), which will be issued in the form of a Sportsmart gift card for your club to use on sporting equipment for your club.
Frequently asked questions
How do club members make their purchase contribute to the club's rebate, and claim their discount, when at the register?
Each club has a unique Team Smart number. Club members simply need to quote this number to the Sportsmart staff member at the register during a purchase to receive the club member discount (where applicable) and to contribute to the club's rebate (where applicable). Your club also has access to materials through the Team Smart website to distribute to club members. This includes cards with your Team Smart number that can be printed and distributed to your club members.
What are the rebate periods?
There are two rebate periods per year: 1st December-31st May and 1st June-30th November. Rebates, based on club spend, are calculated after the end of each period, and gift cards are distributed via mail in following month.
How and when does my club receive its rebates?
Rebates, supplied in the form of Sportsmart gift cards, are sent via mail to the registered address at the end of each rebate period (typically in June and December). The gift card is valid to use in store for 12 months from issue date. Please ensure you provide a valid postal address during the sign-up process.
Is there a way to see my club's rebate balance online?
